The Weldmaker 332SSD Super Silent welder/generator is a versatile high performance machine for either one or two operators.

Providing excellent welding characteristics for all types of DC manual metal arc electrodes, especially cellulosic types for pipeline welding.

An arc selector switch is available in single and dual operator mode enabling the operator(s) to choose between cellulosic and basic electrode output. The welding output is controlled by a single range control which gives the operator(s) current range from 60 to 330 amps in single mode and 30 to 165 amps in dual mode.

The totally brushless welding alternator is controlled by an advanced IGBT control system which offers proven reliability, high performance and enables the output to be validated throughout the range.

Output of the 6kW auxiliary generator is regulated by an AVR providing voltage regulation of +/-1.5%. Welding and auxiliary power are available at the same time.

Powered by an electric start Yanmar diesel engine, the unit has a 36 litre fuel tank which provides up to 20 hours of operation. The machine has Auto-idle fitted as standard, which operates from the welding and auxiliary outputs reducing noise and fuel consumption.

Auto shutdown is fitted to the machine, which will operate in the event of low oil pressure/high water temperature or thermal overload if the generator overheats.

Remote control facilities are fitted as standard on the control panel with a remote control box and cable optionally available. Super silent in operation the Weldmaker 332SSD meets all the latest European sound and CE legislation.
